Welcome To Fish4Wales
Submitted by Nick Williams on Sat, 10/11/2008 - 13:32Welcome to Fish4Wales The Welsh On-line Fishing Community.
Fish4Wales is a web site about fishing in and around Wales in the UK. Although based and predominately about Welsh Fishing we have members from all over the UK and information on many UK venues too. Fish4Wales is live and interactive where clubs and fisheries can update their information with their latest details, keeping you the angler up to date with what's happening at most of the venues and fisheries throughout Wales and the uk.
When we started this web site it was to be for welsh clubs and fisheries only but we have now expanded this to the boarding counties of England.
The web site has developed over time and now provides on-line shopping, an active forum and match section. We would like club officials and fisheries owners to contact us so we can include details about your waters on this site.
There is no charge for this service and no charge to join, this site is a free non profit making venture and as so completely impartial. If you are a member of a local angling club please inform the committee or officials to get in touch.
Email us at Fish4Wales for more details.

Fish4Wales Review 2008

Club Fish4Wales Series Results and Review.
Overview:
This was a good year for Fish4Wales matches in general although match attendances fluctuated from match to match but the good will and banter continued throughout our club matches as usual. This year we had a second weekend festival event in September as well as our normal May festival, both held at Rolfs Lake this year. Then there was the return of the open champion event and the addition of the Fast Forward Celtic Cup.

Junior Celtic Cup 2007 Wales V Scotland
Submitted by Nick Williams on Tue, 10/14/2008 - 09:16Junior Celtic Cup Wales V Scotland 18th & 19th August 2007
This was perhaps one of the best youth competition that we have seen at this level. The event was held on Magiscroft Fishery in Scotland and took place on Saturday the 18th (Practice) and Sunday 19th August (Competition).
The competition was fished under International Rules and this certainly made the competition that more interesting.
The Scottish Team had the advantage over the Welsh Team with it being their home waters but this and the torrential rain didn’t stop us putting up a fight and a performance that you could be proud of since none of our anglers had seen the venue before.
