Fish4Wales is a web site about fishing in and around Wales in the UK. Although based and predominately about Welsh Fishing we have members from all over the UK and information on many UK venues too. Fish4Wales is live and interactive where clubs and fisheries can update their information with their latest details, keeping you the angler up to date with what's happening at most of the venues and fisheries throughout wales and the uk.
When we started this web site it was to be for welsh clubs and fisheries only but we have now expanded this to the boarding counties of england.
The web site has developed over time and now provides online shopping, an active forum and match section. We would like club officials and fisheries owners to contact us so we can include details about your waters on this site.
There is no charge for this service and no charge to join, this site is a free non profit making venture and as so completely impartial. If you are a member of a local angling club please inform the committee or officials to get in touch.

Fish4Wales is an online fishing club and was founded in 2001 with the launch of www.fish4wales.com the original mission of Fish4Wales was to provide links and information on fishing and fisheries in Wales, in later years it has widened this to include England. In 2003 a discussion forum was launched which has grown into a great online fishing community with many members and some interesting characters.

Fishing days out with fellow members began to become very popular and in 2005 match fishing started on Fish4wales with some light hearted fun matches being arranged, many of those original anglers still attend our matches today.

In 2006 Team Fish4Wales was born with us joining the WFCA and taking part in the local clubs league and entering a three man team into the Rolfs Winter League. We enjoyed limited success with the pinnacle being our 1st place in the first match of the first ever Rolfs Winter League in 2006. WE are a new team and growing from year to year with a much stronger team this year (2008) than in previous seasons.

Our squad contains one present Junior Welsh international Ryan Hughes and three previous Junior Internationals in Gary Mitchell, Adam Mitchell and Matt Roberts. We also have Martin Churchill a current Senior welsh international angler along with some quite talented local club anglers and of course our veteran match anglers Nick Williams, Keith Fellowes, Geoff Walker and Gordon Furlong who are collectively known as 'The Coffin Dodgers' by my old friend and former Cormorants Match Group member Nigel Morris.

But in all the talent or so called talent we do not take ourselves that seriously as we fish for fun, and any success that comes our way is a bonus, Fish4Wales Match Group was created with that goal as many of us had left the match scene for the simple reason it was getting too serious and too competitive and we had started not to enjoy the fishing. After all were all about having some fun, catching a few fish and making fun of each other, if we win something along the way that's a bonus.
