Nick struggled to get to grips with the big carp this year but faired better in 2006 & 2007 managing to land carp at both visits on those occasions in the jinx series.

2007 being Nicks best year in the jinx series with 2 section wins and winning the match at Holly Farm putting him in the top few anglers in the series going into the last round at Rolfs Lake.
